Join a Texas Master Naturalist to learn all about the box turtles of North Texas  with an introduction to their secretive world, complete with some actual turtles to help explain the lives of these gentle creatures.

Presented by Hugh Franks, Texas Master Naturalist, Elm Fork Chapter, and a box turtle evangelist for over 50 years.

When: Saturday, September 23rd

Where: Lost Pines Amphitheater (if bad weather will be moved to the Nature Center)

Time: 10am - 11am

Bring: Trail shoes, water, dress for the weather

Cost: Program is free with entrance into the park (Park fee $7 per person 13 years and older, Free for 12 years and younger).
