Want to start camping but don't know where to start? Look no further!

Join us with volunteers, Whitney Adams and Erik Perez, as we look into what it takes to start camping all on your own. From backpacking the Texas wilderness to exploring what is right outside your back door, you can make your own camping adventure anywhere with a few basic skills!

When: Saturday, December 10th, 2022 from 6:00pm-7:00pm

Where: Penn Farm (1876 Farmhouse)

Limited seating provided: Bring a camp chair or blanket if you have one.

Bring:  Water and a snack if you need one and dress for the weather!

Cost: Free with $7 per person park entry fee or presentation of a TPWD Annual Park Pass. Children 12 and under are free to enter the park.
