Quarter Moon a Rising!

Meet Ranger Alicia at Pelican Point parking lot at 8 p.m. before walking down to the swim beach area for a spectacular view of the moon! Test your skills and see how many features of the moon you can spot. Join us as we explore the night sky, and witness the 1/2 moon.

Suggested items to bring are: binoculars, telescope, chair, blanket. 

Cost: Park programs are open to the public and free with park entrance fee ($5 per persons ages 13 and up; children 12 and under are always free! Park entry free with Texas State Park Pass). No need to register -- just show up!
