Summer Camp for Educators!
Project WILD invites you to explore and share the fascinating world of wildlife and ecosystems using fun, hands-on educational activities. You will experience engaging TEKS-aligned activities while networking with other educators.
Institute participants receive:
- 14 hours TEA-approved CPE and TEEAC Credit
- Project WILD K-12 guide
- Aquatic WILD K-12 guide
- Growing Up WILD early childhood guide
- Texas-specific resources
Anyone who works with children, including teachers, homeschoolers, informal educators, and scout leaders, is welcome.
Snacks and water provided, bring a sack lunch and refillable water bottle each day
- Thursday, May 25 at Elm Fork Education Center, UNT
- Friday, May 26 at Clear Creek Natural Heritage Center, Denton
$80 preregistration is required. Deadline May 11, 2023
Fee is for WILD training. WILD materials are distributed only with requisite hours of training. Attendance and participation in the entire experience are required to receive any of the materials, regardless of fee payment.
