Come out to search for our florescent friend, the scorpion!
Notorious for their painful sting and creepy crawly status, Texas scorpions tend to get a bad reputation throughout the state. Scorpions live fascinating lives, scurrying around rocks and twigs, eating many of the creatures we consider to be pests. These little arachnids are great at camouflaging during the day, but their bodies fluoresce under black light at night. Join us during this ranger-led program as we search for our glow-in-the-dark friends.
