Join a ranger for a hike under a Super Harvest Moon!

During this ranger-led hike, we will be exploring the nocturnal adaptations of different animals and testing out our own senses in the dark. The hike will take place along the Talala Trail and travel to the scenic overlook above the lake and back.

Be sure to stick around in order to view the partial lunar eclipse!

When: Tuesday, September 17th 2024 from 7:30pm-9:00pm
Where: Talala Trail Parking Lot
Bring: Water, and a snack if you need one.
Wear: Good shoes for walking and dress for the weather!
Cost: Free with a $7 per person park entry fee or presentation of a Texas State Park Pass. Children 12 and under are free to enter the park.
