Come learn about the native plants found in North Texas and how they impact the birds and other wildlife around them!
Join Jake from Trinity River Audubon Center to learn about the native plants found in our ecoregion, their importance for birds and other wildlife, and how you can incorporate them in your own neighborhood habitats. Jake Poinsett is a Program Manager for the National Audubon Society where he leads environmental education programs and habitat management practices. Before joining Audubon, he worked for TPWD, South Carolina State Parks, and the National Park Service.
When: Friday, August 5th, 2022 from 6:00pm-7:00pm
Where: Penn Farm
Limited seating provided: Bring a camp chair or blanket if you have one.
Bring: Water and a snack if you need one and dress for the weather!
Cost: Free with $7 per person park entry fee or presentation of a TPWD Annual Park Pass. Children 12 and under are free to enter the park.
