Cedar Hill State Park occupies an ecological region known as the Blackland Prairie. Over the past 150 years, this ecosystem has become threatened as settlers moved onto the land permanently. Join us for this ranger-led program, as we investigate the history of the Blackland Prairie and its continued legacy.
When: Friday, May 20, 2022 from 7:00p-8:00p
Where: Penn Farm Fire Ring
Limited seating provided: Bring a camp chair or blanket if you have one.
Bring: Water and a snack if you need one and dress for the weather!
Cost: Free with $7 per person park entry fee or presentation of a TPWD Annual Park Pass. Children 12 and under are free to enter the park.
